1. Modern Indian & Tandoor Chef

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef with a strong background in Modern Indian cuisine to help lead our kitchen for our upcoming restaurant. You will be responsible for preparing authentic and contemporary Indian dishes with a focus on tandoor-cooked specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a range of Modern Indian dishes, with expertise in tandoor cooking (breads, kebabs, marinated meats, etc.)
• Maintain and season the tandoor oven, ensuring consistent temperature and quality
• Develop and refine recipes in line with the restaurant's Modern Indian concept
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) at all times
• Manage stock, ordering, and portion control for tandoor and grill sections
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff on tandoor techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Tandoor Chef, ideally in a Modern Indian or fine-dining Indian restaurant
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and regional cooking techniques
• Experience opening a new restaurant is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Food safety certification preferred
• UAE experience preferred

2. Commis Chef

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Commis Chef to support our kitchen team in daily food preparation and cooking as we prepare for our restaurant launch. This is a great opportunity to grow your culinary career within a Modern Indian kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Follow recipes and presentation standards set by the Head Chef/Tandoor Chef
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Support with stock rotation, storage, and basic inventory tasks
• Follow all hygiene and food safety procedures
• Learn and support tandoor and grill section tasks as needed

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience as a Commis Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant
• Basic understanding of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Food safety certification is a plus

3. Housekeeping Staff

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable Housekeeping/Cleaning staff member to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the restaurant ahead of our opening and during daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, kitchen (back-of-house), and common areas
• Follow daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning schedules
• Ensure supplies (cleaning materials, toiletries, etc.) are well-stocked
• Report maintenance issues or repairs needed
• Support with setup/cleanup during restaurant opening preparations
• Follow all hygiene and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting preferred
• Attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work flexible hours, including during pre-opening setup
• Basic understanding of cleaning and hygiene standards
