Technical Operations Associate

Tech Hive UAE is a technology solutions company delivering Cloud Computing, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence, Web & Mobile Application Development, SaaS Solutions, and Digital Transformation services to clients across the UAE and international markets.

We are looking for a technically skilled Technical Operations Associate to join our remote engineering team and support the deployment, maintenance, automation, monitoring, and reliability of our technology environments.

About the Role

This is a hands-on technical position for a candidate with experience in cloud environments, server administration, application deployments, CI/CD, automation, containerization, and system monitoring .

You will work closely with our developers, QA engineers, AI teams, and project managers to maintain stable development, staging, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain development, staging, and production environments.
• Deploy and maintain applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP .
• Configure and manage Linux-based servers and cloud resources.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose .
• Support Kubernetes environments and container orchestration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools .
• Configure Nginx, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancers, firewalls, and networking services .
• Develop operational scripts using Bash and/or Python .
• Monitor system health, application availability, resource utilization, and performance.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Troubleshoot server, deployment, networking, and application environment issues.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery procedures.
• Manage cloud access, IAM permissions, security groups, and basic security configurations.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.
• Work with development teams to resolve deployment and production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, System Administration, Technical Operations, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration .
• Practical experience with Docker and containerization .
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Working knowledge of Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool .
• Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and load balancing .
• Familiarity with cloud IAM and access-management concepts.
• Experience with Git and version-control systems .
• Basic-to-intermediate scripting skills using Bash and/or Python .
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience supporting SaaS platforms, web applications, mobile application backends, AI applications, APIs, and enterprise systems will be highly preferred.

Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Terraform Associate, or Kubernetes certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
