Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Pile Testing Technician to join our field operations team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various pile integrity and load tests, carrying out concrete testing, and coordinating daily site activities with clients to ensure all quality and safety parameters are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct different types of pile testing (static/dynamic load testing, low-strain integrity testing, cross-hole sonic logging) and manage complete test setups on-site.
- Perform both destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) on concrete structures.
- Coordinate day-to-day site operations directly with clients and main contractors.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and test specifications accurately.
- Prepare basic site observations and document test data using standard software tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Degree, Diploma, or ITI in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in pile testing and geotechnical/materials testing field operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in teams, and capacity to deliver results under tight project deadlines.
