Workshop Helper

We are looking for a Workshop Helper to support our production team with daily workshop activities, material handling, housekeeping and assistance to machine operators and fabricators.

The ideal candidate should be responsible and willing to work in a busy industrial workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the workshop and facility.
• Clean workshop floors and remove scrap metal, waste and production debris.
• Assist machine operators and fabricators with machine and job setup as required.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving and organizing raw materials and finished components.
• Use overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment safely, where trained and authorized.
• Organize steel, materials, tools and components in designated areas.
• Assist operators with moving and positioning materials for production.
• Keep work areas clear and organized to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
• Support workshop personnel with general tasks as directed by the Production Head or supervisor.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Report damaged tools, unsafe conditions or material handling issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fabrication, machining or industrial workshop is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Willingness to work around machinery, steel materials and workshop equipment.
• Basic understanding of workshop safety and housekeeping.
• Experience assisting with crane/material handling is an advantage.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and assist operators with different workshop activities.

Pay: AED1,250.00 - AED1,450.00 per month
