School Manager
Geneva, Switzerland | 4 days per week
We are looking for an experienced and proactive School Manager to join our team in Geneva and support the development and day-to-day management of our school activities.
This is a varied role combining school management, academic coordination, teaching experience and relationships with educational partners. The successful candidate will work closely with management, teachers, schools, universities and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the School Department
- Support the organization and development of educational programs
- Coordinate with teachers, students and educational partners
- Maintain and develop relationships with schools in Switzerland and internationally
- Support cooperation with partner schools, universities and other educational institutions
- Coordinate academic schedules, meetings, documentation and related administrative processes
- Support the development and implementation of new school projects and programs
- Participate in teaching, training or academic activities when required
- Prepare and coordinate educational materials, presentations and reports
- Support management in the development of the School Department
- Ensure effective follow-up of ongoing projects, deadlines and partnerships
Candidate Profile
- Previous teaching experience is required
- Professional experience within a K–12 school environment is required
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum or within an IB school is a strong advantage
- Previous experience in school management, academic coordination or educational administration is highly desirable
- Good understanding of school operations and the educational environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for projects
- Comfortable coordinating multiple activities and stakeholders
- Proactive, reliable and solution-oriented
- Existing professional contacts with schools or educational institutions in Geneva or elsewhere in Switzerlandwould be a strong advantage
- Experience in an international educational environment is highly valued
Languages
- English – strong professional proficiency
- French – strong professional proficiency
- Additional languages are an advantage
Position
- Location: Geneva, Switzerland
- Working schedule: 4 days per week
- Employment: Part-time (80%)
- Start date: As soon as possible
We are looking for someone who combines hands-on school experience with strong organizational and management skills and who would be interested in contributing to the further development of our educational activities and international partnerships.
