FOREMAN (MECHANICAL)

• Supervise the maintenance, repair and servicing of construction plant and machinery.
• Coordinate daily activities of mechanics, technicians, electricians and equipment operators.
• Inspect machinery and identify mechanical faults and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out as per the approved schedule.
• Monitor the condition and performance of excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, cranes, forklifts, generators, compressors, rollers, batching plants, pumps and other construction equipment.
• Coordinate breakdown maintenance and ensure equipment is returned to operation with minimum downtime.
• Maintain records of equipment breakdowns, repairs, servicing, spare parts and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with the Plant Manager and project teams regarding equipment requirements and availability.
• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of machinery at different project locations.
• Monitor operators' daily equipment inspection/checklists and report defects.
• Ensure machinery is operated and maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and company procedures.
• Coordinate with spare-parts/procurement teams for required components and consumables.
• Ensure workshop tools, equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
• Support equipment inspection, testing and certification requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices during maintenance and machinery operations.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor fuel, lubricants and other consumables and minimize unnecessary consumption.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on equipment condition, maintenance and breakdowns.
• Coordinate with external service providers and equipment suppliers when required.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
