Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Joinery Factory Manager with strong UAE joinery and fit-out industry experience to take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a large-scale joinery manufacturing facility with 100+ manpower.

The Factory Manager will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, productivity, quality control, material utilization, machinery, factory discipline, cost control, and on-time project delivery.

The candidate must be a strong operational leader who can independently run the factory and coordinate effectively with Project, Design, Procurement, Estimation and Site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete day-to-day operations of the joinery factory with 100+ workers and staff.
• Prepare and execute daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on project priorities and delivery schedules.
• Allocate manpower efficiently across carpentry, machining, assembly, veneer, laminate, painting/polishing, finishing and packing sections.
• Monitor individual and departmental productivity, output and efficiency.
• Ensure production targets and project delivery deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Technical/Design Team, Procurement, Estimation, Stores and Site Teams.
• Review approved shop drawings, cutting lists, material requirements and production schedules before manufacturing.
• Ensure proper planning of raw materials, hardware and consumables to avoid production stoppages.
• Control material wastage, rework, overtime and production costs.
• Establish strong quality-control procedures at every stage of manufacturing.
• Ensure finished products comply with approved drawings, samples, specifications and client requirements.
• Monitor CNC and other woodworking machinery utilization, preventive maintenance and breakdowns.
• Maintain proper factory workflow, housekeeping, safety standards and manpower discipline.
• Conduct daily production meetings and identify bottlenecks with immediate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production and manpower reports for management.
• Coordinate factory production with site requirements to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
• Take ownership of production delays, quality issues and operational problems and provide practical solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in joinery/furniture manufacturing, with substantial experience in the UAE.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Factory Manager / Production Manager / similar leadership position.
• Proven experience managing a joinery factory with approximately 100+ manpower.
• Strong knowledge of custom joinery, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall cladding and loose/fixed furniture.
• Excellent understanding of MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood, PU painting/polishing, hardware and related materials.
• Strong understanding of joinery machinery, CNC production and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, production drawings and BOQs.
• Strong manpower planning and leadership capabilities.
• Good knowledge of UAE joinery and fit-out industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good command of English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu/Arabic will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate: A hands-on UAE joinery professional with proven experience independently managing a high-volume factory operation and delivering multiple villa, residential, commercial and large-scale joinery projects simultaneously.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
