Get to Know the Role

As the Head of People Operations Business Partner, you will lead a team of senior People Operations Business Partners, ensuring HR directly shapes how the business operates and grows. This means guiding the team to partner with executives on hiring plans, compensation strategy, employee relations, and how we develop talent across the organisation.

You will translate business goals into workforce actions; helping leaders understand what skills they need, when to hire, and how to structure their teams to meet targets.

You will be reporting to Head of People Business Partnering and will be based in Singapore office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will shape the organisation's future by understanding its evolving needs, partnering closely with business leaders in organisational design decisions.

  • You will apply a deep understanding of our business model and the tech landscape to challenge and influence business direction with forward-looking perspectives.

  • You will diagnose complex problems by connecting insights across teams, solving for downstream and second-order effects before they surface.

  • You will use People metrics to drive necessary data-based decisions and changes.

  • Deploy structured problem-solving approaches across teams to raise the quality of decision-making for People programmes.

  • You will drive large-scale organisational changes, securing buy-in from stakeholders at all levels and executing internal communication plans for major launches.

  • You will partner with business leaders on workforce planning, forecasting budgets for hiring, engagement, and learning and development while assessing and anticipating team needs.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 12+ years of HR experience with 5 years leading HR Business Partner teams in technology, fintech, banking, or high-growth organisations

  • Track record of solving complex problems and managing organisational change, including experience guiding senior HR professionals through ambiguous situations.

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with employees and leaders at all levels, demonstrated through your history of influencing decisions and navigating sensitive conversations.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and People analytics tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms) to extract workforce insights and present data to leadership.

  • Structured analytical skills with demonstrated judgement, shown through your experience diagnosing causes of organisational challenges and recommending specific solutions.

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, demonstrated through your history of delivering workforce initiatives on timeline and budget.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations across the markets where we operate
