The Rigless Drilling Operations Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating rigless drilling, well completion, and workover activities at onshore and offshore well sites. The role ensures safe, efficient, and timely execution of well programs in accordance with approved procedures, industry standards, and Saudi Aramco requirements.
- Key Responsibilities
- Supervise rigless drilling, well completion, and workover operations at remote onshore and offshore well locations.
- Ensure all operations are performed safely and in accordance with approved well programs, SOPs, industry best practices, and HSE standards.
- Coordinate contractors, well services, equipment, materials, logistics, transportation, and site support required for operations.
- Ensure compliance with Blowout Prevention (BOP) standards, equipment testing requirements, and emergency response procedures.
- Monitor operational progress, materials, equipment, service-company activities, and associated costs; maintain accurate daily reports.
- Ensure contractor compliance with contractual requirements, personnel competency, and equipment specifications.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational improvement without compromising safety or well objectives.
- Provide field guidance and on-the-job training to less experienced personnel.
- Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in rigless drilling, well completion, or well workover operations .
- Experience supervising complex or critical wells, including deep, high-pressure, sour-gas, or highly deviated wells.
- Strong knowledge of well-site safety, BOP requirements, drilling/workover procedures, and contractor management.
- Experience working with Saudi Aramco standards and procedures is highly preferred.
- Willingness to work on a 28-days-on/28-days-off rotational schedule at remote onshore/offshore locations.
