Platform Engineer

About the Role

As a Power Platform Security & Governance Engineer, you will translate compliance, security and SRMP requirements into practical controls, guidance and hands-on support. The initial focus will be on Power Apps, with the governance approach later extending to Power BI/Fabric and Copilot Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to teams moving from Power Apps Teams environments to Enterprise environments, including CI registration, SRMP alignment and security requirements.
• Help administrators and delivery teams translate compliance, security and IT governance requirements into technical controls, templates and decision criteria.
• Further strengthen the governance model within Power Platform and help develop governance strategies for Power BI/Fabric and Copilot Studio.
• Build and implement the latest compliance and security requirements within the platform backend, including:

--Updating DevOps pipelines and gateway servers.

--Maintaining NPAs.

--Monitoring vulnerability dashboards.

--Supporting the release management calendar.

--Translating new AI developments into secure Power Platform enablement.

Top 3 Responsibilities

• Implement the new Power Apps Governance Strategy by providing hands-on technical support to teams moving from Teams environments to Enterprise environments.
• Strengthen technical governance by translating compliance, security and SRMP requirements into controls, templates and follow-up processes for enterprise platform use.
• Further develop governance and environment strategies for Power BI/Fabric and Copilot Studio from a technical controls and platform security perspective.

Qualifications

• Experience in Power Platform administration or engineering.
• Knowledge of compliance, security, SRMP, controls or risk management for enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of:

--Microsoft 365

--Azure

--IAM

--RBAC

--DLP

--Cloud security concepts

• Experience with Client’s security and compliance (“in control”) processes is preferred.
