User Experience Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site User Experience Designer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The User Experience Designer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to design intuitive interfaces for health exchanges, insurance platforms, and digital portals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research, creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, and refining visual and interaction designs based on feedback and usability testing. The role also involves applying design thinking to solve complex problems, translating technical requirements into user-centered solutions, and ensuring consistency across web and mobile experiences. The designer will participate in design reviews, collaborate on design systems, and help advocate for user-centric decisions across project teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles to complex, data-rich products.
• Strong User Research skills, including planning studies, conducting interviews or usability tests, and synthesizing insights.
• Proficiency in Visual Design and Prototyping using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience creating wireframes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or data-intensive platforms is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and iterating quickly based on feedback and metrics.
