**Job Purpose:**

Manage existing Asset portfolio of Emerging Corporate customers in addition to acquiring new relationships to achieve overall assigned financial targets

Principal Accountabilities:

Maintain and manage an assigned portfolio of Emerging Business Banking clients to retain and grow banking relationships in a profitable manner and in line with assigned business growth targets.

Identify, solicit, and acquire new Emerging Business Banking relationships in line with approved growth plans for assets, liabilities, trade, treasury income, and overall relationship profitability.

Analyse client information and financial performance to support the preparation of detailed credit proposals and recommend appropriate credit facilities in line with the Bank’s credit underwriting standards and risk-adjusted return expectations.

Conduct regular client visits for relationship management, business generation, and portfolio monitoring purposes, ensuring call reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Develop account plans and cross-sell relevant retail business banking products and services to deepen multi-product relationships, increase share of wallet, and generate referrals to other business segments where appropriate.

Establish effective internal and external communication to ensure required turnaround times, service standards, and client satisfaction levels are achieved.

Ensure timely and accurate credit administration, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, financial tracking, documentation follow-up, and portfolio review requirements within agreed review cycles.

Comply with internal policies, credit guidelines, audit requirements, regulatory standards, and the banking legal framework to maintain consistent governance and control standards.

Keep abreast of developments in the local business environment, market trends, and client needs to identify business opportunities and contribute to retail business banking planning and strategy.

Build and maintain a strong network of local business community contacts, business associations, and strategic alliance partners to support business development and portfolio growth.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline.

Professional qualifications such as MBA, CFA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business banking, including 2–3 years of exposure to retail business banking, SME banking, or commercial client relationship management in the UAE.

Experience in managing Emerging Business Banking, SME, or business banking client portfolios, preferably with exposure to local market segments.

Strong business acumen with the ability to prepare relationship plans, portfolio strategies, credit proposals, and client development plans.

Good knowledge of retail business banking products, credit facilities, trade finance, cash management, treasury solutions, and relationship profitability drivers.
