External Job Description About POWERTECH POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.

ROLE PURPOSE The Fleet Coordinator manages the company’s vehicle fleet and driver workforce — including logistics drivers (delivery/collection) and administrative drivers (staff/executive transport) — to ensure safe, compliant, and cost efficient fleet operations. The role owns day-to-day driver scheduling, vehicle maintenance and repairs, fuel management, and fleet compliance.

Key Accountabilities ► Driver Coordination:

  • Schedule and dispatch logistics drivers for supplier pickups, warehouse transfers, and customer/site deliveries.
  • Coordinate administrative drivers for staff, executive, and inter-office / sites or plants transport requests.
  • Maintain daily/weekly driver rosters, coverage plans, and shift handovers.

► Fleet & Vehicle Management:

  • Maintain a live fleet register: vehicle type, registration, assigned driver, mileage, and service history.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs; coordinate with approved garages/service centers.
  • Track and approve fuel/petrol spend per vehicle; monitor for anomalies or excessive consumption.

► Cost & Compliance

  • Monitor and report fleet operating costs: fuel, maintenance, repairs, insurance, and depreciation.
  • Maintain compliance with UAE road transport regulations and internal HSE policies.
  • Develop and continuous improvement on the Fleet related policies.
  • Maintain documentation for audits: driver licenses, vehicle certificates, maintenance logs, and incident reports.

► Reporting & KPI Traceability:

  • Maintain structured daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on fleet and drivers’ status, documentation accuracy, duty spend, and exception cases.
  • Prepare weekly summaries for the Logistics Manager covering fleet and driver performance. Compile monthly reports linked to KPI targets with all figures for full audit readiness.

Experience, Education, Skills And Competencies Experience

  • 4–5 years of experience in fleet coordination, transport management, or logistics operations.
  • Working knowledge of UAE traffic/transport regulations and vehicle compliance requirements.
  • Experience with fleet management/GPS systems (GPS tracking, fuel card platforms) is an advantage.

EDUCATION

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field or a related field
