Project Architect – Property Development & F&B

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Architect with proven experience working with property developers and Food & Beverage (F&B) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and overseeing projects from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, developer requirements, authority approvals, commercial developments, and F&B design standards. The candidate should be capable of delivering innovative, functional, and commercially viable architectural solutions while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, detailed designs, and construction drawings for residential, commercial, and F&B projects.
• Work closely with property developers to understand project requirements, design objectives, branding guidelines, and development standards.
• Prepare design presentations, 3D models, renderings, material selections, and detailed project documentation.
• Develop architectural solutions for restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, and other F&B establishments.
• Coordinate with developers, clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and project managers throughout all project phases.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, developer guidelines, and applicable industry standards.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and support the preparation and submission of documents required for project approvals.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve architectural and technical issues during design and construction stages.
• Coordinate design revisions and ensure all project documentation remains accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with MEP, structural, kitchen, interior design, and specialist consultants, particularly on F&B projects.
• Assist in the planning, budgeting, material selection, and value engineering of projects.
• Monitor project progress and ensure design quality, functionality, timelines, and client requirements are achieved.
• Ensure all architectural deliverables are completed professionally and within agreed project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Proven experience working with property developers, real estate development companies, or development projects.
• Previous experience in F&B projects, including restaurants, cafés, food outlets, and commercial spaces, is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority approval processes, and local construction practices.
• Experience coordinating with developers, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction detailing, materials, and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with BIM and multidisciplinary coordination is an advantage.
• Excellent design, technical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
