The Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Network Specialist to support network connectivity and technology infrastructure across retail locations. In this part-time, fully remote role, you will monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, coordinate technical incidents, and help maintain stable communication between stores and central systems.

The ideal candidate combines practical networking expertise with strong analytical and communication skills and is comfortable coordinating remote technical support across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network connectivity and performance across stores and related locations.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity-related incidents.
• Investigate network outages and coordinate timely resolution of critical issues.
• Support configuration and maintenance of network devices and connectivity services.
• Coordinate with internet service providers, vendors, and internal IT teams.
• Support connectivity for POS, inventory, security, communication, and business applications.
• Maintain accurate records of network incidents, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Analyze recurring connectivity issues and recommend practical improvements.
• Support network changes, upgrades, testing, and new-store technology deployments.
• Prepare concise network performance and incident reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant network administration, retail IT, infrastructure, or technical support experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP addressing, and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network monitoring, connectivity management, and incident-resolution practices.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and remote support environments.
• Proficiency in diagnosing network issues and documenting technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize incidents based on operational impact and urgency.
• Professional, organized, security-conscious, and adaptable approach to remote network support.
