Job description

Emirates British Nursery (EBN), part of GMG, is hiring an Arabic Teacher for

our Dubai nursery.

This role is part of our Emiratization programme and is open to UAEN

holding a valid FamilyBook, in line with MOHRE Emiratization requirements.

Successful candidates may be eligible for Nafis salary support.

About the role

You will lead the Arabic language and Islamic values learning for children in

the Early Years, plan and deliver your own lessons, and take responsibility for

the progress and wellbeing of the children in your class.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver daily Arabic lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum

- Lead your classroom, supported by a teaching assistant

- Assess and record each child's development and language progress

- Prepare learning materials, displays and activities that suit ages 45 days to 4 years

- Meet parents, share progress updates and lead parent-teacher discussions in

Arabic and English

- Contribute to curriculum planning, events and school readiness preparation

- Uphold all safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies

Requirements

- UAEN with a valid Family Book

- Native or fluent Arabic; working English

- A degree or diploma in Education, Early Childhood, Child Development or

Arabic Language, or a recognized teaching qualification (CACHE Level 3,

Montessori, or equivalent)

- Previous teaching experience with young children is preferred

- Confident leading a classroom independently

- Must not be currently employed in the private sector (Nafis eligibility)
