About The Role As an HR Business Partner at KNDS Deutschland, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic HR management for various business units. Your responsibilities include advising and coaching leadership teams and managers across the organization, including subsidiaries, on a wide range of HR-related topics. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance on employment law, labor relations, collective agreements, and workplace regulations, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive working environment. Additionally, you will lead and support HR projects, from conception through implementation, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. Your role involves acting as a key interface with employee representatives and collaborating closely with all HR functions to drive change and continuous improvement. You will also oversee strategic workforce planning, participate in negotiations for works agreements, and support the development and revision of company policies and guidelines. In collaboration with the recruitment team, you will assist in hiring senior leadership and design and deliver training programs to enhance employee development and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in HR Management, Business Law, or a comparable qualification
- Extensive professional experience in a similar HR role within a manufacturing or industrial company
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, collective bargaining agreements, and works constitution law
- Experience in HR management, coaching, and consulting
- Strong decision-making skills, responsibility, and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, independent work style
- High willingness to travel due to the cross-site nature of the role
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR management and workforce planning for various business units
- Advising and coaching managers and leadership teams on HR-related issues
- Providing expertise on employment law, labor relations, and collective agreements
- Leading and supporting HR projects from conception to implementation
- Acting as a liaison with employee representatives and labor unions
- Supporting the development, revision, and implementation of company policies and guidelines
- Participating in negotiations for works agreements and supporting their implementation
- Collaborating with the recruiting team to onboard senior executives and leadership roles
- Designing and conducting training programs to promote employee development
- Managing disciplinary and employer-initiated measures in accordance with legal requirements
- Engaging in change management processes and acting as a sparring partner for organizational development
