L2/L3 Azure Cloud Engineer

Position: L2/L3 Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands

Engagement: Permanent Role

Mode of Work: Hybrid ( 2/3days WFO)

Language: Fluent in English (both spoken and written), Dutch is good to have

Job Description: The individual should be highly hands on technical in managing day-to-day issues and understand transformation needs in an Azure environment, including Azure landing zone, etc

Key Responsibilities

• Functional or technology focus (both can be a good fit)
• Experienced in One Identity
• Azure DevOps knowledge
• Solution/result oriented, pragmatic, pro-active
• Strong preference for candidates knowledgeable in One Identity
• Technologies used by the team are VB .NET, C#, Powershell etc.
• Good Information Security background/training

Key responsibilities:

1. Support Transformation of Azure cloud
2. Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud resources (e.g. Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage)
3. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Bicep and ARM
4. Automate recurring tasks using Powershell, Bash
5. Ability to maintain CI/CD Pipelines
6. Ability to work on incident, problems related to Azure cloud
7. Ability to use cloud native monitoring tools for application-level insights
8. Configure azure monitoring, dashboarding, and alerting systems.
9. Identify and troubleshoot OS defects, patching etc
10. Support workload/project teams on technical issues/solutions

Must-Have

• Expertise in Azure Cloud management
• Ability to work in Agile way of working
• Good knowledge of Cloud native tools
• Good knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS management and troubleshooting
• Good Knowledge in Entra ID
• Hunger to learn new technologies as they arise
• Document infrastructure changes and operational procedures
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Preferred Experience Range:

• Desired Experience Range for L2 Azure Cloud Engineer is 4-6 years
• Desired Experience Range for L3 Azure Cloud Engineer is 8 to 10 years
