Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Urologist to join our multidisciplinary medical team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of urological conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. The role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological disorders.
  • Perform outpatient consultations, assessments, and follow-up appointments.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic investigations, including ultrasound, cystoscopy, urodynamic studies, and imaging results.
  • Perform elective and emergency urological surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures where applicable.
  • Treat conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate disorders, urinary incontinence, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, and urological cancers.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, nephrologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and primary care physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and departmental meetings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with DHA, MOHAP, or DOH regulations and international healthcare standards.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a recognized specialty training program in Urology.
  • Board Certification or equivalent qualification in Urology.
  • Eligibility for or possession of a DHA, MOHAP, or DOH Consultant License.
  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty area is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of post-board certification experience as a Consultant Urologist.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex urological cases.
  • Experience in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and endoscopic urological procedures is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an internationally accredited hospital is an advantage.
