Job description
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer / OpenText (Micro Focus) Consultant with strong expertise in Enterprise Management Solutions (EMS) , AIOps , and Machine Learning-driven IT Operations . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing, enhancing, integrating, and supporting OpenText Enterprise Monitoring platforms in large enterprise environments—not just performing day-to-day system administration. This role focuses on driving intelligent monitoring, automation, operational excellence, and enterprise-scale IT transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, enhance, and support OpenText Enterprise Management solutions in enterprise environments.
- Implement and optimize AIOps and ML-based monitoring capabilities for proactive event correlation and operational insights.
- Configure, integrate, and support OBM/OMi, SiteScope, NNMi, BVD, OBR, Operations Orchestration (OO), Optic Data Lake, UCMDB, and Cloud Optimizer .
- Develop dashboards, analytics, reports, and automation workflows.
- Integrate OpenText solutions with ServiceNow , third-party applications, and cloud platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA), performance tuning, upgrades, and modernization of enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to deliver enterprise monitoring solutions.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience with OpenText (Micro Focus) Enterprise Management Solutions.
- Strong experience with AIOps, Machine Learning capabilities, and intelligent enterprise monitoring .
- Hands-on expertise with OBM/OMi, SiteScope, NNMi, UCMDB, BVD, OBR, Operations Orchestration (OO), Optic Data Lake, and Cloud Optimizer .
- Experience supporting and enhancing enterprise monitoring platforms in large enterprise organizations .
- Experience integrating with ServiceNow and other ITSM platforms.
- Automation, API integrations, and scripting (Perl/VBScript).
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, AWS, and Hybrid Cloud monitoring.
Preferred
- OpenText / HP / Micro Focus Certifications.
- Experience in Aviation, Government, Banking, Telecom, Utilities, or other large enterprise environments .
- Strong client-facing, solution design, and enterprise implementation experience.
