Procurement Engineer - Civil

Job Functions:

• Understands project specifications, studies drawings and documents, and requests clarification.
• Floats enquiries, receives and analyzes quotations and prepares comparison sheets for technical, prices and schedule against budget and project specification.
• Negotiates the best payment terms and contract conditions with potential suppliers ensuring that they are all provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
• Obtains technical submittal of the successful bidder to submit to the Client/Consultant for approval.
• Follows-up the Sub-contractors to submit their required
• Keeps up to date with market developments.
• Searches for, identifies, and establishes contacts with new suppliers and subcontractors and updates database accordingly.
• Manages the periodic re-evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Creates monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Good technical knowledge of contracting supplies.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement in a UAE contracting company.
• Excellent command in English (speaking and writing)
• Available in UAE
• Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Procurement Engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
