Technician VI, Instrument Job

An exciting opportunity is available for Instrument Technician located in Jubail .

Job Purpose The Instrument Technician is in charge of Instrument PM’s and CM’s activities. He must be proficient in Instrumentation skills related to preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Role Responsibilities:

• Performing preventive maintenance of instrument equipment.
• Issuing and closing of work permit.
• Troubleshooting and repair of instrument equipment.
• Knowledge of SAP for closing and updating assigned work orders.
• Take leadership tasks as lead technician level if required.
• Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Review preventive maintenance procedure for all assigned equipment.
• Using hard communicator or transmitter calibration.
• Knowledge in SIL testing.
• Knowledge in PLC.

Qualification, Experience Required:

• Diploma in instrument or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience or above working as Instrument technician in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas sectors.

Must-haves Technical Skills:

• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in instrumentation and control systems.
• High attention to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently complete tasks to a high standard.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
