Accounting Associate

Role Description The Accounting Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations. Daily tasks include preparing and posting journal entries, assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers and reconciliations. The role involves working with accounting software to process invoices, payments, and receipts, as well as supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accounting Associate will collaborate with finance and operations teams, assist with audits and reporting, and help ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant financial regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, with a solid understanding of core accounting principles.
• Candidates should possess experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and supporting financial reporting processes.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting), general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Accounting Software and related digital tools used for invoicing, payments, and record-keeping.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Good communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, and strong time management capabilities.
• Previous experience in medical equipment or healthcare-related businesses is an advantage but not required.
