Job Description:
Ensure all the destination facilities and infrastructure operate at peak performance by leading the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of both preventive and reactive maintenance programs. This role is responsible for overseeing technical operations across MEP systems, attractions, utilities, and seawater filtration facilities, while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and equipment reliability. The Manager plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, enhancing asset longevity, and supporting smooth integration between engineering, operations, and third-party vendors.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules across all facility systems.
- Manage MEP systems, ride equipment, and seawater filtration infrastructure.
- Oversee asset inspections and service records via CMMS.
- Supervise internal technicians and outsourced maintenance contractors.
- Coordinate with operations and engineering to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, OEM standards, and regulations.
- Respond to urgent breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and track SLAs.
- Report maintenance KPIs to leadership and recommend lifecycle improvements.
- Lead technical audits, inspections, and condition assessments for infrastructure and attractions.
- Collaborate on CAPEX planning and recommend upgrades or asset replacements based on performance and lifespan.
- Ensure proper calibration, testing, and maintenance of safety and control systems.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Provide input to the Department’s strategy from the Section or Unit perspective, in alignment with the destination vision and mission.
- Develop the Section or Unit’s objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans, ensuring implementation meets performance targets.
- Contribute to the Section or Unit’s budget preparation and monitor financial performance.
- Implement and ensure adherence to Section or Unit policies and procedures; oversee performance and KPI communication.
- Ensure effective staffing, development, and deployment of Section or Unit employees in coordination with higher management.
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
- Years of Experience
- 8 years (with 2+ year in managerial role).at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
- within theme parks, aquatic centers, or large-scale leisure environments.
- Other Requirements
- CMMS proficiency required; knowledge of aquatic systems and seawater
- equipment is a strong advantage.
