The Role

We are seeking a proactive Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students through admissions inquiries, application processes, and enrollment decisions. You will collaborate with admissions, academic, marketing, and student-support teams to provide accurate information and create a smooth applicant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with prospective students to understand academic interests and goals.
• Explain relevant programs, admission requirements, timelines, and application procedures.
• Guide applicants through documentation, application, and enrollment steps.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries through remote communication channels.
• Maintain accurate applicant records, interaction notes, and follow-up schedules.
• Monitor application progress and coordinate outstanding requirements with relevant teams.
• Conduct virtual consultations, information sessions, and admissions follow-ups.
• Build positive relationships with applicants while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Collaborate with academic, marketing, admissions, and student-support teams.
• Identify recurring applicant concerns and recommend improvements to the admissions experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant admissions, education, counseling, recruitment, or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of student admissions and enrollment processes.
• Knowledge of application documentation, applicant communication, and follow-up practices.
• Familiarity with international education or diverse learner populations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in standard productivity, communication, and online collaboration tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and active-listening skills.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple applicant cases.
• Professional judgment and ability to communicate information clearly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international remote teams.
