Pediatric Dermatologist - Abu Dhbai

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dermatologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of skin, hair, and nail disorders affecting infants, children, and adolescents. The role requires expertise in pediatric dermatological conditions, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, birthmarks, skin infections, allergic skin disorders, and genetic skin diseases.
• Perform comprehensive dermatological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and minor surgical interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, allergists, immunologists, and other specialists to provide integrated patient care.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and skin care management.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits.
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric dermatology through continuing medical education and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and ethical medical practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a recognized residency in Dermatology.
• Fellowship or specialized training in Pediatric Dermatology preferred.
• Board Certification or equivalent specialty certification in Dermatology.
• Eligibility for or possession of a valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Dermatology preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
