Network Engineer

Kazamer Tax Consultant is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to support its IT infrastructure and business operations in Dubai . This role is ideal for a networking professional with strong troubleshooting and system administration abilities who can maintain reliable network connectivity, monitor infrastructure, and resolve technical issues. The successful candidate will help ensure secure, stable, and efficient network services for employees and business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and related network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security to identify potential issues.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other networking equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, bandwidth, and network performance problems.
• Manage IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and basic network routing.
• Implement and maintain network security controls, access policies, and firewall configurations.
• Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration backups.
• Monitor network logs and investigate unusual or unauthorized network activity.
• Provide technical support to employees experiencing network and connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, asset lists, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and external technology vendors when required.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, data protection, and business continuity procedures.
• Participate in IT projects involving network expansion, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Follow company IT policies and applicable information-security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of network security principles and cybersecurity best practices.
• CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and cloud networking is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
