Water Treatment / Pumping Station Operator

Location: UAE

We are looking for an experienced Water Treatment / Pumping Station Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of water treatment, pumping station, well and distribution facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment, pumping station and well equipment .
• Monitor systems through control panels, computer systems and instrumentation .
• Monitor operating parameters including pressure, flow, temperature, voltage and current .
• Perform equipment start-up and shutdown according to established SOPs.
• Monitor alarms and respond to equipment failures and operational emergencies.
• Support continuous and reliable water supply operations.
• Monitor water quality and record operational readings.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, operational records and reports.
• Follow HSE, operational and emergency-response procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams when equipment faults or abnormalities are identified.

Requirements

• Diploma/Higher Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
• Previous experience in water treatment, pumping stations, wells, RO plants or water distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and water treatment processes.
• Experience operating or monitoring control systems/control panels .
• Understanding of pumps, pressure, flow rates and other operational parameters.
• Ability to respond to alarms, equipment failures and emergency situations.
• Knowledge of operational SOPs and HSE procedures.
• Good communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
