Forklift Driver

Job Purpose

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials within the manufacturing facility. The role ensures timely material movement while maintaining compliance with company safety procedures, UAE regulations, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.
• Supply raw materials to production lines according to production requirements.
• Transport finished goods from production to the warehouse or designated storage areas.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
• Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of the forklift and report any defects immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements as required.
• Follow warehouse procedures for inventory handling and stock rotation (FIFO where applicable).
• Assist in organizing warehouse storage locations to maximize space utilization.
• Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in work areas.
• Support inventory counts and stock audits when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid UAE Forklift Operator License/Certification.
• Valid UAE Driving License (if required by company policy).

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in the cable manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience in loading, unloading, and warehouse operations.

Technical Skills

Pay: From AED1,800.00 per month
