Work Mode: Full-time, On-site

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Infrastructure Planning & Strategy Consultant to support a leading national authority responsible for industrial cities and zones across Saudi Arabia.

This is a strategic advisory and infrastructure planning role , focused on helping the client determine where, when, and how electrical infrastructure should be expanded across its portfolio. You will advise senior stakeholders on substation planning, electrical capacity, infrastructure master planning, demand forecasting and investment prioritisation , translating engineering requirements into clear strategic recommendations and infrastructure roadmaps.

This is not a hands-on electrical design or execution role .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and advise on electrical infrastructure master plans across industrial cities and technology zones.
  • Assess substation requirements, siting, sizing and capacity at a portfolio level.
  • Develop electrical capacity roadmaps based on current and forecast demand.
  • Advise leadership on infrastructure expansion priorities and investment decisions .
  • Translate technical engineering assessments into business cases, investment recommendations and strategic plans .
  • Engage with government entities, ministries, utilities and other key stakeholders to support infrastructure planning and regulatory alignment.
  • Support discussions with tenants and facility operators from a strategic planning perspective.
  • Prepare high-quality technical studies, executive presentations, dashboards and recommendations using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Provide senior-level advisory on electrical infrastructure risks, capacity constraints and long-term development requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Significant senior-level experience in electrical infrastructure planning, strategy, consulting or advisory .
  • Proven experience with substation planning, capacity planning and electrical network master planning .
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across government, utilities, industrial clients and senior leadership .
  • Knowledge of Saudi electrical/utility requirements, particularly Saudi Electricity Company standards , is highly desirable.
  • Business-fluent Arabic and English are mandatory.
