Frontend Software Engineer – Agentic Applications

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build web-based UX/UI for internal applications used across the bank's AI/agent initiatives.
• Build and maintain the front-end layer that allows the team to manage and interact with multiple AI agents in one place.
• Ensure APIs are integration-ready so front-end applications can connect cleanly to backend agentic systems.
• Bring product thinking to the evolution of these internal tools – helping determine what the next version of each web page or workflow should look like.
• Operate largely independently on UX/UI decisions, as the client does not currently have a dedicated design function for these internal tools.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong UX/UI instincts combined with solid front-end software engineering skills – this role owns both design and build for internal tools.
• Experience building and consuming APIs for integration with backend systems (in this case, AI agent backends).
• Some product sensibility – comfort making judgment calls on how a tool or interface should evolve, not just executing a fixed spec.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building internal tools or admin-style applications rather than consumer-facing products.
• Exposure to agentic AI or LLM-powered application front ends.
• Banking or financial services experience.

Key Skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular.
• API integration.
