Job Summary PLC Industries Pte Ltd is an established precision engineering and custom manufacturing solutions provider in Singapore. Operating out of our heavy-industrial hub at Penjuru Close, we specialize in high-precision CNC machining, metal stamping, and specialized mechanical assembly for global corporate clients across the aerospace, semiconductor, and industrial electronics sectors. We pride ourselves on a culture of operational precision, technical excellence, and continuous process optimization. We are seeking a highly systematic, analytical, and results-oriented Project Manager to lead our engineering and product delivery teams. In this role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for managing the full lifecycle of custom manufacturing projects, client product onboarding cycles, and high-precision engineering workflows. Operating from our West Region facility, you will bridge the gap between multinational corporate clients, technical production supervisors, and procurement logistics teams to ensure that all deliverables are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in strict accordance with ISO quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Execution: Direct the complete project lifecycle from initial engineering blueprint reviews and cost estimations through to production scheduling, quality testing, and final client delivery.
- Timeline & Milestone Tracking: Create and maintain comprehensive project development plans, track day-to-day manufacturing milestones against key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively implement contingency paths to eliminate production bottlenecks.
- Stakeholder & Client Liaison: Serve as the primary, high-touch point of contact for corporate engineering clients, facilitating technical product reviews, project status updates, and change order variations with high diplomacy.
- Resource & Budget Optimization: Manage allocated project budgets, monitor manufacturing resource utilization, and analyze material scrap metrics to maximize profitability and eliminate working capital waste.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a central communication link between front-office account executives, backend procurement teams, and workshop production lines to align project scheduling and material requirements.
- Quality & Risk Mitigation: Enforce strict adherence to technical design specifications, risk registers, and corporate quality assurance checklists to guarantee zero product defect rates.
- Governance & Documentation: Maintain precise physical and digital archiving frameworks, compiling comprehensive engineering files, compliance certificates, and production metrics for statutory audits.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related quantitative technical discipline.
- Technical Stack: Strong command of engineering visualization concepts, structural planning documentation, and project tracking frameworks. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for budget tracking is essential.
- Experience: Prior experience (1–5 years) as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Operations Coordinator—specifically within a precision engineering, contract manufacturing, or industrial assembly sector—is required.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional telephone etiquette and an assertive, collaborative stakeholder management style.
- Core Competencies: Outstanding structural logic, intense attention to detail under tight industrial deadlines, strong diagnostic capabilities, and a resilient team-player mindset.
