Job description
- Company Overview
Asia Resource Corporation Pte Ltd is an established leader in providing high-value industrial solutions, resource extraction infrastructure, and advanced technical engineering systems across the Asia-Pacific region. Headquartered in Singapore's prominent commercial core at Shenton Way, we manage complex cross-border logistics, machinery maintenance frameworks, and industrial operations. We pride ourselves on a culture of operational precision, absolute regulatory compliance, and a performance-driven workplace built on engineering excellence.
Job Summary
We are seeking an analytical, highly technical, and results-oriented Plant Operations Manager to lead our industrial facilities, engineering teams, and production operations. In this critical leadership role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for managing the full lifecycle of plant operations, preventive maintenance frameworks, and hardware engineering workflows across our regional assets. Operating from our Shenton Way business headquarters, you will bridge the gap between multinational corporate accounts, backend procurement units, and on-site factory technical supervisors to ensure that all plant deliverables are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in strict accordance with ISO quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Total Plant Operations Management: Direct the day-to-day scheduling, production output, and performance execution of regional industrial facilities and engineering teams.
- Workflow Optimization & Scaling: Establish, track, and monitor operational performance metrics (KPIs) to eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks, minimize asset downtime, and streamline supply chain flows.
- Preventive Maintenance Frameworks: Design and oversee rigorous machinery maintenance schedules and equipment calibration programs to ensure high-reliability operational continuity.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Liaison: Act as a primary, high-touch point of contact for multinational corporate accounts, government regulators, and global engineering equipment suppliers regarding technical specifications.
- Budgeting & Cost Engineering: Manage allocated plant operational budgets, monitor manufacturing resource utilization, and analyze material scrap metrics to eliminate working capital waste.
- Workplace Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigid compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations, workplace health and safety protocols (such as WSHA), environmental safety guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Technical Documentation Control: Maintain precise physical and digital archiving frameworks, compiling comprehensive equipment calibration logs, incident tracking charts, and compliance certificates for statutory audits.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Operations Management, or a related quantitative technical discipline.
- Technical Stack: Strong command of system configuration tracking, technical blueprint interpretation, and production mapping models. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for metrics tracking is required.
- Experience: Prior experience (3–5 years) in a plant operations manager, senior production engineer, or industrial facility maintenance lead role—specifically within a heavy manufacturing, engineering distribution, or resource logistics sector—is required.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional telephone etiquette and an assertive, collaborative stakeholder management style.
- Core Competencies: Outstanding structural logic, intense attention to detail under tight production schedules, strong diagnostic capabilities, and a resilient team-player mindset.
Pay: $4,500.00 - $7,800.00 per month
Work Location: In person
