Technical Capabilities

Quality Engineering / QA

For candidates focusing on QA or Quality Engineering, we are looking for an

engineering approach to quality

, rather than treating testing only as a final manual validation step.

Relevant experience may include:

• Designing test strategies based on product and technical risk
• Functional, integration, API and end-to-end testing
• Test automation
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• API testing and validation
• Testing distributed and integrated systems
• Identifying edge cases and failure scenarios
• Performance, reliability and security-conscious testing
• Defect investigation and root-cause analysis
• Working with developers to improve testability and prevent defects earlier in the SDLC
• Using evidence and metrics to make quality and release recommendations
