Job description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality management, supplier qualification, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, qualify, and monitor new and existing suppliers.

Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier performance through defined KPIs.

Conduct product and supplier qualification activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Lead investigations into quality issues, non-conformances, and product failures, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Manage and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Support equipment and product qualification, analytical method validation, calibration, and maintenance activities where applicable.

Review test results, calculations, quality records, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Assist with drafting, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.

Support equipment and product qualification, analytical method validation, calibration, and maintenance activities where applicable.

Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors for equipment servicing, preventive maintenance, calibration, and quality-related activities.

Assist with internal and external audit preparation and ensure compliance readiness.

Maintain accurate quality documentation and records in accordance with applicable quality standards.

Participate in risk assessments, workplace safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

Support troubleshooting and resolution of equipment or quality-related issues.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Experience in supplier management, supplier audits, or product qualification is preferred.

Familiarity with quality assurance processes, laboratory procedures, or analytical testing will be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.

Good command of English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage to converse with mandarin clients

Willingness to travel to overseas/less-developed countries, with approximately 30% travel required.
