Senior Engineer Secondary - High Voltage

We are looking for a Senior Engineer Secondary - High Voltage to play a key role in the design and development of secondary systems for high-voltage substations, supporting critical projects that contribute to a more sustainable and reliable energy future.

What You'll Do

• Translate functional designs and project requirements into detailed technical designs and project plans.
• Design secondary systems, including protection, control, SCADA, and monitoring solutions for high-voltage substations.
• Develop and verify integrated engineering solutions in line with technical standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and validate technical documentation, calculations, drawings, and execution packages.
• Support the Lead Engineer and Technical Manager throughout all project phases, from concept and basic design to detailed execution.
• Identify design challenges, perform quality checks, and contribute to effective problem-solving within project teams.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing complex high-voltage and medium-voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of requirements related to system availability, reliability, maintainability, and safety.
• Experience with secondary engineering disciplines including protection, control, SCADA, and monitoring systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes.
