Job description

Our client is a large Investment Fund based near Geneva. We are looking for a:

Leverage Finance Analyst – Leverage Buy Out Analyst

Job description:

  • Actively support the identification, evaluation, and execution of new investment opportunities, including funds and private equity co-investments.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, analysis, and mapping of private equity and private credit markets, with a focus on Europe and North America.
  • Prepare market insights, strategy materials and investment presentations to support investment decision making.
  • Assist in all stages of the investment process, including due diligence, financial modeling, and investment documentation.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, conduct risk analysis, and prepare performance reporting and any materials related thereto.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on investment, monitoring activities, projects or research.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of tools, databases, and reporting processes.
  • Participate in team discussions, fostering a culture of collaboration and constructive feedback.

Required Profile

  • 3–6 years of experience in Leverage Finance within Investment Banking.
  • University degree from a leading institution; CFA designation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in equity valuation, financial modelling, and analyzing companies.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with database tools such as Capital IQ is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Team player with a high degree of commitment, maturity, and integrity. Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive, self-driven approach to managing tasks and time effectively.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (primary working language)
