Job description

  • Project scope: Large-scale construction projects where performance must be tracked across schedule, production, quality, and HSE dimensions.

  • Digital transformation need: The client has set digital / information management governance rules and expects contractors to align with them. This requires robust data models, reporting dashboards, and digital tools to replace manual processes.

  • Supplier engagement: The role champions data collection and sharing initiatives between the client and contractors, ensuring suppliers in the yards provide consistent, validated data for reporting.

Tools in use:

  • Power BI dashboards for project performance visualization.

  • Power Apps site observation tool to capture progress, quality, and HSE observations.

  • MS Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and governance compliance.

  • Reporting cadence: Weekly and monthly data collection templates and site reports ensure structured, repeatable reporting aligned with client expectations.

Outcome for client:

  • Improved decision‑making by site management.

  • Efficiency gains through digitalisation of manual reporting.

  • Consistency and trust in data across contractors and suppliers.

  • Power BI and PowerApps proficiency - strong experience in building data models, DAX, and dashboards.

  • Digital project controls - 5-10 years in data analytics or project reporting roles.

  • Data foundations - solid grounding in data engineering and analytics.

  • Collaboration tools - proficient in MS Teams and SharePoint.

  • Reporting cadence - ability to produce weekly/monthly site reports.

  • Communication skills - fluent in English, both written and oral.

  • Analytical mindset - detail‑oriented, disciplined, and practical problem‑solver.

  • Training ability - capable of educating team members who are not data‑savvy.

Preferable Skills & Experience

  • Construction project experience - familiarity with site operations, schedules, and HSE reporting.

  • Data certifications - e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, or similar.

  • Process digitalisation - experience eliminating manual reporting processes.

  • Self‑management - proven ability to work independently and stay motivated.
