Our client is a well-established European professional organization based in the heart of Munich, dedicated to supporting and advancing the field of intellectual property. Our client is looking to strengthen its team with an Education and Training Manager . The position is part of a five-person team, reporting directly to the Head of Department and taking responsibility for the planning and coordination of training and continuing education activities for the organization’s members. The role combines the organization and administration of training and examination programs with the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the organization’s educational offering. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, with a particular focus on the use and further development of digital tools and solutions for education and training. Strong communication skills and confidence in working with members and professional stakeholders are essential, as is the ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to new systems and processes.
The position is full-time and permanent, based in Munich, with a flexible 50% office / 50% remote working model following the induction period.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, and delivering training and continuing education events using modern learning technologies and innovative pedagogical approaches
- Supporting and shaping training and continuing education programs, with a focus on exam preparation and administration
- Overseeing and further developing the mentorship and tutor framework for students and future members
- Designing and organizing specialized educational programs for paralegals and legal assistants
- Actively participating in and supporting the internal Educational & Training Committee
- Assisting with the implementation and rollout of a new Association Management System
- Collaborating closely with the Accounting Team, particularly on annual budget planning and resource allocation
Professional qualifications:
- Degree in adult education, pedagogy, or a comparable qualification
- Proven track record and extensive experience in organizing, managing, and delivering professional training programs and learning initiatives
- Structured, meticulous approach to work with a passion for digital learning solutions
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems is required; experience with platforms like Moodle is an advantage
- Interest in intellectual property and legal framework topics
- Excellent written and spoken English and German; proficiency in French is considered an advantage
