Position Summary
The Supply Chain Supervisor is a people manager within the Leiden Manufacturing Site Supply Chain team, responsible for leading a shopfloor-based team and providing hands-on support to daily warehouse and materials management operations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a shopfloor-based team, setting clear expectations, managing performance, and supporting team engagement.

Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and provide day-to-day coaching on the shopfloor (e.g., goal setting, observation, timely feedback/correction, and development planning) to support individual development and team performance.

Identify training needs, coordinate onboarding, and ensure required training is completed and documented for assigned staff.

Provide front-line, hands-on support on the shopfloor for materials management and warehouse operations.

Lead and author supply chain deviations, investigations, CAPAs, procedural documents, training content, and change controls.

Execute timely and compliant closure of investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.

Perform document revisions; support projects; and complete CAPA, deviation/investigation, and change management actions, including related tasks and continuous improvement efforts.

Support health authority inspections as a compliance subject matter expert (e.g., deviations, change control).

Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams (e.g., present investigation findings at governance forums).

Provide guidance to less experienced staff during day-to-day operations.

Perform activities to support operations, such as housekeeping and alarm acknowledgement.

Perform other tasks as required to support operations.

Perform shift work.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Demonstrated people management experience supporting shopfloor teams, including coaching and conducting regular 1:1 meetings (e.g., setting goals, providing real-time feedback, supporting performance improvement plans, and mentoring through on-the-job training).

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, warehouse or related discipline (or relevant technical area) with ≥ 4 years of relevant experience; OR associate degree in a technical/scientific discipline with ≥ 6 years of relevant experience.

Working knowledge technical writing skills.

Six Sigma Belt preferred; or demonstrated experience with Operational Excellence/Lean methodologies.

Working knowledge of quality management systems.
-
Working knowledge and implementation of data integrity principles preferred.

Demonstrated experience with SAP Quality Management.
