F&B Runner – Josephine Outlet

We're looking for energetic and attentive Runners to join the opening team of Josephine.

As an essential connection between the kitchen and the restaurant floor, you will help ensure every dish reaches the right guest at the right moment and exactly as the culinary team intended. This role requires energy, speed, attention to detail and excellent teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests quickly, safely and professionally.

• Ensure every dish is delivered to the correct table and guest according to the restaurant's service standards.

• Understand the menu sufficiently to identify dishes, key ingredients and basic allergen information.

• Check dishes before leaving the pass to ensure presentation and table numbers are correct.

• Communicate clearly with chefs, waiters and restaurant supervisors to maintain a smooth flow of service.

• Support waiters with table maintenance, clearing, resetting and preparation when required.

• Ensure service stations are clean, organised and fully stocked.

• Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout all food handling and service activities.

• Handle crockery, glassware and restaurant equipment carefully and responsibly.

• Respond quickly to operational needs during busy service periods.

• Support the wider restaurant team wherever needed to deliver a seamless guest experience.

• Previous experience as a Runner, Food Runner, Busser or Waiter Assistant within a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.

• Experience within a premium or high-volume restaurant is an advantage.

• Basic food and beverage knowledge.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain active and work efficiently throughout busy service periods.

• Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.

• Good grooming and professional presentation.

• Fluency or good working knowledge of English.

• Previous UAE hospitality experience is an advantage.
