Job Responsibilities

Deliver Yokogawa Technical Support Department (TSD) commitments to our customers. Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring process up-time and system performance as per contractual agreement with the customer, as per assignment. Participate in add-on / expansion service projects (Non POC) during Engineering phase, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning phases as required. Need to carry out Preventive and corrective maintenance of the Yokogawa’s portfolio of products, carry out Hardware and software upgrades. Actively participate in Yokogawa’s TSD/RSD growth plans and identify opportunities to provide additional services in the installed base. Depending on business requirement, role can be on-shore or off-shore, short duration or long duration (e.g. resident site support engineer) and provide overall on-site leadership. 24 x 7 on call support, as per assignment. Support any and all the Service department related activities as assigned by Department Management &/or Reporting Manager. Directs the activities of other on-site Yokogawa personnel in the resolution of system problems and/or the startup and commissioning efforts. Submits weekly reports to Service management per need, e.g. regarding startup efforts, punch list items, assistance required from management and/or the resolution of system level problems.

Job Qualification & Experience

A Degree in Engineering Field preferably Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical; and Electronics. Preferably 5-10 years experience in the Maintenance/Startup of Control System / Experience in DCS/ESD/SCADA systems, particularly in Oil/Gas and Petrochemicals as well as filed instruments. Experience working with OEMs will be an added advantage, particularly with prior Yokogawa experience.
