Position: Mechanical Estimation Engineer
Experience: Minimum 8 years
Location: ABU DHABI UAE
Industry: MEP / Building Services / Construction

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer with a strong background in MEP construction estimation and tendering.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong experience in MEP mechanical estimation and construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, rate analysis and cost estimation.
• Experience in preparing technical and commercial tenders.
• Ability to review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs and contract documents.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, water supply and other mechanical services.
• Ability to obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Strong knowledge of material pricing, project costing and budget preparation.
• Experience in tender evaluation and comparison of quotations.
• Ability to prepare competitive and accurate bids within deadlines.
• Good knowledge of UAE MEP construction practices and market rates.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and estimation-related software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
