For our European Headquarters in Frankfurt am Main area (Offenbach) we are looking for a:

(Junior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

Join us as Legal Counsel at Hyundai AutoEver Europe and partner with diverse business units to provide practical legal advice that helps drive our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate, draft and review contracts and legal documents.
• Support daily operating business.
• Assess legal risks of diverse IT projects.
• Provide legal advice to diverse business units and in-house customers, in particular in the field of data protection law, IT law, commercial law.
• Follow up legislative and regulatory changes and recommend appropriate actions.
• Design and implement standards and processes to promote efficiency of legal operations.
• Participation in internal compliance and certification efforts (ISMS, ISO27001, etc.).

Requirements:

• Law degree (in Germany "Volljurist") or other jurisdiction.
• Knowledge in privacy law, IT law, commercial law, contract law, compliance.
• Ability to express in English fluently and precisely.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse business units within the organisation.
• Confident and professional communication with internal stakeholders and external service providers

Nice to have

• Experience with GDPR.
• Good German communication is a plus.
• First work experience in a multinational company or law firm is advantageous.
