Job Summary

As a Quality Technician, you will support product quality, reliability, defect analysis, and manufacturing improvement activities. You will perform inspections, data analysis, troubleshooting support, and failure analysis activities that help maintain Micron's world-class quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Support quality monitoring and control activities.
• Perform inspections, measurements, and testing activities.
• Collect, organize, and analyze quality-related data.
• Support failure analysis and root cause investigation activities.
• Prepare reports and documentation for engineering review.
• Assist with corrective and preventive action programs.
• Support audits and quality system compliance activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Other & AI Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted and digital tools to improve data analysis and reporting efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and defect reduction initiatives.

Candidate Profile / Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Quality Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, or related disciplines.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts.

Must Have Technical Skills

• Basic data analysis skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Technical problem-solving.
• Ability to follow procedures and quality standards.

Must Have Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting mindset with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, teamwork and collaboration.
• Willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to quality systems, testing, inspection, or laboratory environments.
• Internship experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industries.

AI Requirements

• Ability to responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools for analysis, documentation, and operational support.
