Job Title
VP – Product Manager, APAC Private Equity and Investor Relations Technology - Singapore
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic Product Manager for our APAC Alternative Asset Management Technology (AAMT) team who has a strong passion for building new products and democratizing data for non-technical users. As a member of the APAC AAMT team, you’ll be expected to solve real business challenges by bridging strategy and technology execution – owning complex initiatives from inception to delivery. You are equal parts problem solver and operator with an instinct for identifying what matters, a bias for action, and the resilience to see things through.
Responsibilities
Own and maintain the APAC technology roadmap across Private Equity and Investor Relations use cases, prioritizing initiatives against business impact, effort, and regional dependencies. Set quarterly deliverables, communicate trade-offs to stakeholders, and keep the roadmap aligned with global technology objectives.
Work directly with APAC business teams to understand how they operate day to day and where technology can remove friction.
Translate business needs into clear requirements and product documentation — including business requirement documents (BRDs), product requirement documents (PRDs), functional specifications, and user stories — and partner with engineering to deliver them.
Lead intake and refinement of technology and data asks related to deal tracking, portfolio monitoring, and other workflows. Proactively identify opportunities for better tooling, automation, or data flows that increase adoption and reduce manual work.
Build and oversee scalable and production-grade data-ingestion and automation solutions; deliver reporting and tracking solutions across coverage areas such as deals, fund performances, and client interactions.
Identify and deliver AI use cases that improve productivity, and support adoption of firm AI tools; Run enablement and training sessions that help business users get value from new AI and automation capabilities.
Manage relationships with third-party data, research, and technology vendors — including CRM, market-data, and research platforms — covering trials, onboarding, user access, and ongoing value realization.
Coordinate integrations between BXTI-wide platforms and teams in partnership with engineering.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
8+ years of experience in financial services, management consulting, product ownership, project management, business analytics, or related roles. Exposure to alternative asset management, private equity, investor relations, client services, or wealth management preferred.
Strong ability to understand user needs, business processes, and operational workflows, and translate them into clear product requirements and technology solutions.
Experience creating product documentation such as BRDs, PRDs, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, user flows, and process maps.
Proven ability to partner with engineering, data, and business teams across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through development, testing, rollout, and adoption.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, SDLC practices, backlog management, release planning, and delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Hands-on experience with BI, CRM, workflow, and data platforms such as Tableau, Sigma, DealCloud, Salesforce, Snowflake, or similar tools.
Strong analytical skills, with experience working with data across systems, defining metrics, identifying insights, and supporting data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with data governance, data quality, data integration, and data modeling best practices preferred.
Practical experience delivering AI, automation, workflow improvement, or data-driven solutions, with a focus on user adoption and business impact.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working across global teams, business functions, technical teams, and time zones.
Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities, define scope, handle scope changes, raise risks early, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the judgment to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or escalation.
