Subject: Hiring – Joinery Production Engineer (wood decor and full joinery?

We are currently looking for an experienced Joinery Production Engineer to join our woodworking and joinery factory in dhabi.

We are looking for a hands-on candidate with strong practical experience in joinery production who can:

* Review and understand shop drawings, technical drawings, sections, and joinery details.

* Explain drawings, dimensions, materials, finishes, and execution requirements clearly to the workshop supervisor and workers.

* Plan and organize the production process for each project.

* Coordinate cutting, CNC work, edge banding, assembly, sanding, painting, finishing, and preparation for installation.

* Prepare material requirements, cutting lists, hardware lists, and production requirements before manufacturing starts.

* Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, technical data, samples, and material availability.

* Compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, specification, availability, and delivery time.

* Follow up with approved suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and according to the required specifications.

* Verify that supplied materials, hardware, and finishes match the approved samples and project requirements.

* Identify missing details, drawing discrepancies, or production issues before manufacturing begins.

* Monitor workmanship, quality, material usage, wastage, and production progress.

* Ensure completed items are manufactured according to the approved drawings and specifications.

* Provide clear daily progress updates to management.

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience inside a joinery or woodworking factory. Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, production methods, CNC operations, painting, finishing, and supplier coordination is required.

The candidate should also have good knowledge of local suppliers for boards, veneer, laminate, hardware, paint, adhesives, and other joinery materials.

Please note that candidates with only site or fit-out supervision experience, without practical factory production experience, may not be suitable for this position.
