Job description
Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for all aspects of contract management, including risk management and mitigation, ensuring specification compliance, transactional pricing, customer negotiations, customer communications and issue resolution

Lead the transactional deal process having the ability to structure creative, commercially and technically sound quality deals as well as fully manage associated contractual issues that arise over the life of the project. Interface with various functions including product applications, sourcing, supply chain, finance, treasury, legal, insurance, etc. to ensure a viable, compliant and competitive deal.

Provide leadership during the deal review process to ensure that all technical risk points, risk mitigation, and business risk acceptance levels are properly incorporated in the development of the scope, cost and proposal wording.

Ensure accurate costing is done for complex and/or large deals particularly Key Account deals and deals that are not managed using our commercial tools (SFDC, iDeal, etc.).

Lead and manage the execution of price agreement renewals through the Price Agreement Tool ensuring adherence to DoA, renewal guidelines, profitability, and account expiration.

Train sales teams on pricing methodologies, best practices and process to renew agreements.

Train the sales team in usage of the Salesforce (SFDC) CRM tool and drive accuracy of data input by the commercial team, to enhance accuracy of revenue forecasts.

Leverage SFDC to drive rigor in the deal development cycle and work with the sales team to ensure data integrity and adherence to SFDC processes.

Support the Sales Team in finalizing & maintaining Distributor Agreements.

Maintain Pricing & Win/Loss Database across all applications to facilitate future bid submissions.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
-
Ability to travel regionally (<15% of the time).
-
Experience in the Water Industry and/or with Speciality Chemicals Segment.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales, engineering or risk management position.

Compliance - Proven risk awareness, ensuring compliance to procedures and regulatory requirements, can develop process to minimize risk and for continuous improvement

Communication Excellence - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Experience in people management, with a thorough understanding of management principles and the ability to select, develop and manage the team. Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately.

Domain Expertise - Experience reviewing terms & conditions and negotiating agreements. Understanding of water & process chemical solutions, pricing structures, and ITO processes. Comfortable leveraging tools & systems like SFDC, SAP, Tableau & Price Quote Tools.

Before visiting any site, factory, and/or warehouse, make sure to inform the safety team to get the right induction and prepare LMRA and the needed PPE.

Always maintain office safety such as keeping your files/papers in the correct place, keeping the drawers closed after use, arranging the electrical cables secured to avoid slips & trips, reporting any lost connections or damaged electrical components, and ensuring your office is clean and tidy

Report to HR/HSE if you are facing stress, fatigue, any form of harassment, or bullying at the workplace.
