Whilst supporting the Senior Account Executive you are managing the relationship with a large German banking client – being part of an international banking group. The responsibilities include marketing, selling, and implementing the full range of Visa products and services. The role also entails managing client projects across the Visa organization, building strong partnerships with our bank and providing customized solutions to jointly achieve business objectives. Furthermore, this role will include collaboration with Account Executives in other European countries (e.g. Austria, The Netherlands, Irland) who manage this banking client in their respective markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of account strategies and business plans, identifying growth opportunities and helping to achieve revenue and profitability objectives through Visa's products and services.

  • Support portfolio reviews, commercial performance analysis, account planning and CIA governance, translating business insights into actionable recommendations and helping track delivery against key business objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the client organisation, supporting senior stakeholder engagements, identifying business opportunities and contributing to the growth of the partnership.

  • Prepare executive briefings, client presentations, business reviews and strategic recommendations for key client meetings and internal decision-making.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal and other Visa teams to ensure timely delivery of client priorities, commercial initiatives and strategic projects.

  • Collaborate closely with Visa's international account and country teams and continuously develop expertise in the payments industry and Visa's products and services.

This role offers the opportunity to operate at the center of one of Visa's strategic issuer partnerships in Germany and Europe, combining commercial thinking, portfolio performance management, and strategic account planning to help shape and accelerate the future growth of the business.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, interpret business data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities, including the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, initiatives, and priorities in a matrix environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
