Job description

  • Degree or diploma in HSE Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate mandatory
  • NEBOSH Oil and Gas or equivalent preferred
  • 8–12 years in HSE roles within offshore, marine, or oil and gas operations; minimum 3 years in supervisory/leadership capacity
  • Proven experience managing HSE activities across offshore campaigns, vessel operations, project sites, and shore-based facilities
  • Strong knowledge of offshore safety management systems, risk assessment processes, PTW systems, and SIMOPS management
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, audits, inspections, and safety performance reviews
  • Experience working with ADNOC projects or ADNOC-approved offshore operations is a strong advantage
  • Certificate - NEBOSH IGC
  • IOSH membership
  • Valid offshore safety training (BOSIET/HUET)
  • ADNOC HSE Passport OR ADNOC approved
  • Incident investigation certification (TapRoot/ICAM) advantageous
  • Lead the HSE function across assigned operations, projects, and shore-based activities, ensuring full compliance with applicable HSE regulations, ADNOC requirements, and company HSE management system.
  • Drives proactive safety culture, manages incident response, and provides HSE leadership to project teams, vessel operations, and yard activities.
  • Lead the HSE team providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight for HSE officers and advisors
  • Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments for offshore campaigns, vessel operations, and yard activities
  • Drive proactive HSE culture across all operational areas through engagement, recognition, and leadership visibility
  • Manage incident investigations including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements, UAE regulatory frameworks, IMCA guidelines, and company HSE standards
  • Coordinate HSE inspections, audits, and workplace assessments across shore-based and offshore locations
  • Monitor and report HSE KPIs, leading indicators, and performance trends to management
  • Manage HSE training programmes ensuring personnel competency and certification compliance
  • Interface with client HSE representatives, ADNOC HSE, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters
